What is Chivchiv?

Chivchiv is a story app for children (ages 3 and up) growing up away from Maharashtra. Chiu the sparrow tells Marathi stories to listen to at bedtime or read together.

• Listen in Marathi, English or both. Bilingual narration helps children follow along while they learn.
• Read by myself. Beginner and Intermediate readers with Roman letters to help new readers.
• Screen-light by design. Audio first, no videos, no ads. Download stories to listen offline.
• Made by Marathi families. Folk tales, fables and stories from around the world, told with care.

Safe for children

• No ads, ever.
• Your child's name and picture stay on your phone.
• Anonymous story statistics can be switched off in Settings.
• Purchases and settings are behind a grown-ups check.
